The Cupid lamp is the perfect gift to give this Valentine’s Day! This sprightly, somewhat mischievous cupid has taken aim and is ready to release his passionate arrow… So, are you ready to fall in love? With someone, with something, or with life in general! Made in white resin, the Cupid lamp comes with two interchangeable LED bulbs shaped like hearts: One red and one transparent. With the New Antic collection, Italian designer Uto Balmoral ironically and cheekily revisits Antiquity statues to transform them into lamps! The troublemaker Uto Balmoral takes pieces of classical antiquity and makes them communicate in a fun, surrealist way with the present. He provocatively and cheekily hijacks the cultural heritage of antiquity. The resin perfectly imitates white marble. This sculptural object, at the boundary between art and design, creates a dreamlike, extravagant world, at once provocative, funny and absurd. You’ll recognise the dark humour of Uto Balmoral, for whom objects must have character and provoke astonishment, even if it means disturbing people. The Discobolux lamp adds an uninhibited, eccentric, arty touch to your décor. This sculptural piece stands out in our interiors to decorate as much as to illuminate.
